South American Rivers (Amazon)

The Amazon River is located in South America and is the largest river in the world. It has a total discharge that is greater than the next ten river combined. It has the largest draining basin in the
world, which is about 2,290,000 square miles wide and accounts for one-fifth of the world's river flow. The width of the Amazon River ranges from 0.6 miles to about 6.2 miles depending on where
you are. During the wet or rainy season, the river can stretch out to be almost 30 miles wide.

-The average temperature around the Amazon River is about 80° F or 30° C.

-Around the Amazon River can have up to 50 or 250 inches of rainfall per year.

-The Amazon River is located in the Amazon Rainforest in South America.

-Since my ecosystem is a river, which is a body of water, it mostly consists of aquatic creatures and plants, which include, but are not limited to:
